Although the sandwiches are on the pricey side (22 for a large sandwich combo w/ fries drink), they are some of the best Sacramento has to offer. Nice owners as well. P.S. - ask for Seasoned fries!

21 with tax and tip for Works Cheesesteak (small), Cheese Fries & Soda (medium). Added the free jalapenos to fries for more nacho zest. Cheesesteak meat was very tender, generous serving for size, and bread was very fresh. Will return.

Excellent food lively atmosphere good friendly service food came out quickly and was delicious also good prices for the quality of the food about 10 per person where they could have charged 15-20 but did not would definitely recommend and would go again if I'm ever out that way again

This place has been here a long time. It's really good. Some, legit, Philly style cheesesteak. Get the one with "the works". Even the buns are good. The fries with cheese dribble are fire. Big portions and they don't skimp. I remember my dad bringing me here as a kid in the early 80's. Go enjoy.

Ummmm, the works with cheese sauce, provolone, and pepperonciini, please. Full disclosure, my other fave, Philly, is IB's in Berkeley. This is the best I've had here in Sac. Enjoy.
